In the first quarter of 2025, the film and television app market in Bulgaria saw notable trends across various metrics. According to data from Sensor Tower, here's how the top five apps performed:

Nova Play experienced significant growth in weekly downloads, reaching a peak of around 24K in late February. The app's weekly revenue fluctuated, peaking at approximately $117 in the same period. Weekly active users also saw a dramatic rise, culminating at about 67K by the end of March.

HBO Max: Stream Movies & TV maintained a steady weekly revenue, averaging around $17K, with a noticeable increase to $20K in late February. Downloads started strong at 10K but gradually declined to about 4.5K by the end of the quarter. The app consistently engaged around 88K active users weekly.

EON TV had stable weekly downloads, starting at 5.6K and slightly decreasing to 4K by March. Despite no revenue data, the app engaged a significant number of active users, peaking at 65K and gradually declining to 42K by the end of the quarter.

Netflix showed a consistent weekly revenue trend, averaging around $600. Weekly downloads decreased from 6.5K to 3K by the end of March. However, the app maintained a robust active user base, peaking at 98K in mid-February.

SkyShowtime: Filmer och serier experienced a steady decline in weekly downloads, starting at 4K and dropping to 1.6K. Revenue remained stable, averaging around $2.7K, with active users showing a gradual increase, reaching nearly 40K by the end of March.
